Sailor Guardians’ Final Battle Reaches Climax in Sailor Moon Cosmos Film 2nd Part Trailer
The official website for the two-part anime film Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos The Movie posted a 60-second full trailer for its forthcoming second part today.
The website introduced the clip as:
Her friends, who were supposed to have been erased by the galaxy’s most powerful enemy, Sailor Galaxia, along with her lover, Tuxedo Mask/Mamoru Chiba, stand before Eternal Sailor Moon with cold eyes. Sailor Moon despairs at the unexpected words and actions of her friends, who have believed in and supported each other against all odds, but still stands up for the future of the galaxy. What will be the outcome of the battle against Sailor Galaxia, and what will be the final answer that Sailor Moon chooses? Please come to the theater to see the conclusion of “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon,” as it is finally depicted.

The films are the final arc of the Sailor Moon anime reboot series, which began in 2014 with Sailor Moon Crystal, and is based on the Shadow Galactica arc of Naoko Takeuchi’s original Sailor Moon manga. A new enemy organization, Shadow Galactica, which seeks to conquer the galaxy, targets the Sailor Guardians, led by Eternal Sailor Moon, in order to steal the Sailor Crystal, the source of their power. The first part already opened in Japan on June 9, 2023, the second part will follow on June 30.

The first part’s theater goers in its secodn week from June 16 to 22 will receive one of the four-type coaster newly drawn by the anime’s character designer Kazuko Tadano.
