Robo-Idol Anime Technoroid Overmind Shares January Debut, Key Art

Composer and Elements Garden founder Noriyasu Agematsu will be releasing his next anime venture on the world at the beginning of 2023!

Technoroid Overmind, the anime branch of media mix music project Technoroid, has just confirmed a January 2023 release. The project was originally scheduled to premiere this past July, but experienced setbacks after increased COVID-19 infection rates earlier this year.  The rescheduled premiere announcement came with a shiny new key visual:

Eliza: CV Asami Seto. An AI hologram who lives with the androids and assists them in their daily lives.

Bōra: CV Daiki Hamano. A special investigations android for the Metropolitan PD.

Additionally, a manga adaptation will begin in January 2023 alongside the anime, helmed by Ageha Saotome.

The Technoroid franchise takes place in a future where, due to a global decline in population and much of the world being underwater, robots and androids are used to handle labor. Androids also perform in the entertainment complex known as “Babel,” a tower to the top of which each group hopes to ascend.

Led by Symphogear co-creator Agematsu alongside RUCCA, CyberAgent, Avex Pictures, and Elements Garden, the Technoroid franchise also includes the mobile game Technoroid Unison Heart.
