Rin Kurusu Shares KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World Opening Theme MV
Rin Kurusu, a former member of Japanese idol group 26-Ji No Masquerade, has posted a music video for her solo debut singe song “I wish” to be released on May 24, 2023. The group broke up in October 2022, then her solo debut from Bandai Namco Music Live’s label Lantis was announced in January 2023.
The cute pop tune is now featured as the opening theme for the spring 2023 TV anime KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World, in which she is also cast as one of its main characters, Sian. Kurusu has previously announced that she intends to pursue voice acting career, and Sian is her first anime character role.
Kurusu wrote on Twitter, “I’m singing about straight feelings in a glittering world. I hope it will be an important song that gently pushes you back. Please watch this video a lot!”

The TV anime adaptation of Aoi Akashiro’s isekai fantasy manga series KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World premiered in Japan on April 5 and has also been simulcast on Crunchyroll for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.

Synopsis:
