Pole Princess!! Anime Film Takes Pole Dancing to Theaters This Winter

Pole Princess!

The Pole Princess!! project—which is a pole dancing story that includes an original anime on YouTube—is expanding to the big screen. Following up on the anime’s debut in December, it was revealed that a theatrical anime film is on the way, with release plans currently penciled in for winter 2023.

A teaser visual arrived along with the news during a special event held in Tokyo today. The visual depicts Hinano Hoshikita (VA: Rio Tsuchiya) sporting a new costume, with the pole right between her and Yukari Mikoshiro (Yoshino Nanjo).

Hitomi Ezoe (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure episode director) directs the anime project at Tatsunoko Production with the anime studio and avex pictures coming up with the original concept. Touko Machida (Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan) writes the scripts and Yoshihiro Otobe (Tiger & Bunny) is the CG director.
