The characters in its latest fourth CM are newly designed by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, best known for his character design works for the Evangelion anime franchise. The fourth anime CM entitled “The Tail that is Too Honest” tells a story about the main heroine Dongitsune voiced by Inori Minase (Rem in Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World) and a male student with glasses by Nobunaga Shimazaki (Haruka Nanase in Free!). The new CM has started airing in Japan from today.

Synopsis:

Dongitsune sits idly by the classroom window. Looking into the distance, she mutters, “I hate my tail.” She seems to be somewhat concerned about “that guy” with glasses sitting behind her. On the rooftop after school, he is eating Donbei, but for some reason, he keeps slurping down the noodles and refuses to touch the kitsune (deep-fried bean curd). “You don’t like the kitsune anymore?” Dongitsune asks him with a thoughtful expression on her face. He shows her the kitsune in the cup, saying, “The one you like best is the last one you eat.”
