New Pokémon Anime Catches a Few Characters for the 2023 TV Series

Another week catches us another round of new characters for the brand new Pokémon TV anime series set to start in April. The round nets us the first look at the mysterious Explorers group, three of its members and a Gurumin, a person inside a Nidorina kigurumi. who is a popular online streamer but whose true identity is unknown. 

 

 

Voice the four new members are (English names not confirmed):

Shun Horie (Kazuya in Rent-a-Girlfriend) as Amethyo, who partners with a Ceruledge

Kohsuke Tanabe (Homura in Fairy Ranmaru) as Zir, who partners with a Rhydon

Arisa Shida (Amanda O’Neill in Little Witch Academia) as Conia, who partners with a Golduck

Pokémon

 

Yoshino Aoyama (Hitori Goto in BOCCHI THE ROCK!) as Gurumin

For those watching the current seasons of the Pokémon anime, the latest batch of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series launched on February 24 on Netflix in the US, with the final batches, which feature Ash’s final episodes, being released at a later time. The newest Pokémon anime which features the first new protagonists in the history of the franchise starts in Japan on April 14 with Saori Den directing at OLM.
