Naruto And Gintama Featured In New Jump MV Music Video Series

 

Sony Music Entertainment Japan and Weekly Shonen Jump have tied up on a new promotional campaign to pay tribute to the history between both that has given rise to Jump anime adaptations featuring opening and ending themes from artists under the record label’s umbrella.

 

 

 

 

The series of music videos pair original motion comic animation featuring manga originally published in Weekly Shonen Jump with music from artists signed and managed by the record label. The Naruto and Gintama music videos are featured as the first two videos in the campaign as part of the “Anime Theme Song” series, with songs by the artists that were originally used as opening and ending themes for their respective anime adaptations.

 

 

Asian Kung-Fu Generation JUMP MV – “Haruka Kanata”

 

 

Asian Kung-Fu Generation is featured in the Naruto Jump MV with the song “Haruka Kanata”. The song was originally selected as the second opening theme for the Naruto anime in Japan. Asian Kung-fu Generation also performed a new opening theme in “Shukuen” for the anime adaptation of Naruto: Sasuke’s Story, which aired within the Boruto anime beginning in January of this year.

 

 

Gintama Jump MV – DOES “Shura”

 

In addition, Gintama also receives its own Jump MV featuring artist DOES with the song “Shura”. It was originally used as the fifth ending theme for the Gintama anime.
