A date has been locked in for the start of the continuation of My Hero Academia season 6, and fans won’t have to wait too long for more action. The season was previously announced as being composed of two consecutive cours, and the second cour is officially set to kick off on January 7, complete with new ending theme “Kitakaze” by SIX LOUNGE.

The sixth season of My Hero Academia premiered in Japan on October 1 with Crunchyroll streaming the newest season as it airs. This season comes in two parts that are set to air consecutively over this current anime season and the next. Here’s how Crunchyroll describes the series:

 

Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.
