My Hero Academia Manga Now Has Over 85 Million Copies in Circulation
It’s been another big year for Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia manga! This time last year the series was celebrating 65 million copies in circulation around the world, and now that figure has been increased to the tune of an additional 20 million. Volume 37 launched in Japan today, and with it comes news that the series has hit the milestone of more than 85 million copies printed (physically) and sold (digitally) as of February 3.

The My Hero Academia manga is currently on break due to Kohei Horikoshi’s health, and is set to return to the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump in the 20th issue of the magazine, which goes on sale in Japan on February 20.
The sixth season of My Hero Academia TV anime continues after the series premiered in Japan on October 1 with Crunchyroll streaming the newest season as it airs. This season comes in two parts that are set to air consecutively over this last anime season and this one. Here’s how Crunchyroll describes the series:
Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.
