MIX Second Season Anime Scouts Little Glee Monster for Second Cour Ending Theme
Baseball anime MIX MEISEI STORY is running into the second cour of its second season! Starting next month, the show will close out with a new ending theme, courtesy of Little Glee Monster.
Formed in 2013, the girl group currently consists of six members. The group performed the ending theme for the first season of MIX back in 2019, along with themes for My Hero Academia, Pokémon XY, BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS, and many others.

The group says the song, titled “Ima Kono Toki wo,” is meant to evoke special and important moments in the listeners’ hearts. The new song will become part of the show when the second cour begins next month.
Following the 24-episode first season in 2019, the much-awaited second season of the MIX MEISEI STORY TV anime premiered in Japan on April 1, 2023, and has also been simulcast on Crunchyroll for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe (excluding Italy and France), Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
Crunchyroll describes the story as:
A new generation steps up to the plate in a moving sequel to the 1985 baseball manga, Touch. Stepbrothers Touma and Suichirou are ace players on Meisei High School’s baseball team, and thanks to them, the team may finally have a chance at returning to nationals. But little by little, a tragic legacy unfolds as the stepbrothers follow in their fathers’ footsteps.
