Lupin the Third Anime Artist Yasuo Otsuka Gets Posthumous Artbook

 

The late Yasuo Otsuka was a legendary animator and animation drector, both working on major titles and mentoring the next generation of artists. Starting today, you can dive into his mindset and past work with a posthumous collection of his writing and artwork.

 

Miscellaneous Notes on Pastimes is curated by video researcher and Otsuka’s long-time friend Seiji Kanoh. Inside, you’ll find reprints of magazine articles and out-of-print books penned by the animator, as well as unfinished proposals. And for the Lupin the Third fans in the crowd, there’s a collection of Castle of Cagliostro art.

The book is now available from the Genkosha Book website for 2,300 yen plus tax.
