Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Names Its Top Manga for Male and Female Readers in 2022

 

Takarajimasha revealed its list of top manga of the past year in the announcement of its Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2023 rankings today ahead of the release of the mook on December 14. The Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga is Amazing!) ranking is voted on by publishing industry professionals, as well as other entertainment professionals and students (though, are weighted less than industry professionals) and compiled into a male and female ranking.

 

Male Readers:

 

1. 1. The Summer Hikaru Died by Mokumokuren
2. 2. Goodbye, Eri by Tatsuki Fujimoto
3. 3. Takopi’s Original Sin by Taizan 5
4. 4. Akane-banashi written by Yuki Suenaga and illustrated by Takamasa Moue
5. 5. Gekiko Kamen by Takayuki Yamaguchi 
6. 6. Kore Egaite Shine by Minoru Toyoda

Last year saw Tatsuki Fujimoto top the list for the second year in a row with Look Back (and Chainsaw Man in 2020) but was dethroned this year by Mokumokuren’s The Summer Hikaru Died. One Piece also makes a return this year in the eighth spot.
