Kana Hanazawa Sings Dark Gathering TV Anime Ending Theme

 

The official website for voice actor Kana Hanazawa has confirmed that her new song “Hai-iro” (Gray Color) will be featured as the ending theme for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Kenichi Kondo’s supernatural horror manga Dark Gathering. She is also cast as one of the anime’s main characters, Eiko Hozuki. 

 

The lyrics of the song are co-written by Konomi Fujimura and Kitagawa Katsutoshi (ROUND TABLE), while the latter also works on music and arrangement. Kitagawa has collaborated with Hanazawa since her first single “Hoshizora Destination” released in 2012.

 

Her official website has also released her new artist photos for the song, in which she is standing in a dark and rainy city, matching the atmosphere of the anime.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The TV anime Dark Gathering is set to premiere in Japan in July 2023, with Hiroshi Ikehata (TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You) directing at studio OLM (Summer Time RenderingODDTAXI). Shigeru Murakoshi (ZOMBIE LAND SAGA) serves as series compoistion writer, while Shinya Segawa (Pastel Memories) works on character designs.
