KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World Hits Production Delay

Even divine beings hit a snag now and then, and due to “various circumstances” the KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World TV anime has hit a production delay that will postpone the release of Episode 11 of the series by one week.

 

According to an official Twitter post by the production committee, Episode 10 will rebroadcast in the show’s regular time-slot, while Episode 11 will broadcast in Japan on June 28, 2023.

Based on the original manga written by Aoi Akashiro and illustrated by Sonsho Hangetsuban, KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World is directed by Yuki Inaba and features animation production by Studio Palette. Crunchyroll currently streams the series, and describes the story as follows:

 

As heir to a cult leader, Yukito centers his life around the mysterious goddess Mitama. But everything changes after he’s killed during a ritual gone wrong. To his surprise, Yukito is reborn into a world with no concept of god! And in this world, life and death are decided by the Imperial State.
