Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru Manga Gets TV Anime Adaptation
Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru (AKA Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again) is a comedy web manga by Kagiri Araido that follows an old couple who wake up one day to find out their physical age has been reverted to the way it was in their 20s, and now it’s getting a TV anime adaptation. There aren’t any details outside of the fact that it’s getting animated, but Kadokawa did share a visual and an illustration from the author to celebrate the announcement.

The Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru manga first launched on art platform pixiv in October 2019 and ranked sixth place in the Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taisho’s web manga category in 2020. It has pulled in over 100 million views online and Kadokawa will publish its seventh collected volume in Japan on August 16.
