I’m in Love with the Villainess TV Anime Sets October Premiere with New Visual, Trailer
It’s easy to only have eyes for the charismatic central duo of I’m in Love with the Villainess, but the upcoming fantasy comedy anime has now added the all-important side characters with today’s reveal of a key visual, trailer and October 2023 premiere.

Here’s who’ll be flanking Yu Serizawa (Shera in How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord) as Rae and Karin Nanami (Meiya in Muv-Luv Alternative) as Claire while they tango:

Based on the light novels by Inori. and Hanagata, I’m in Love with the Villainess is being directed by Hideaki Oba (Love of Kill) at studio Platinum Vision, with series composition by Ayumu Hisao (Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life), character designs by Youko Satou (7SEEDS) and music by Noriyuki Asakura (Knights of Sidonia). Hajime Takakuwa serves as sound director.
Seven Seas Entertainment, which publishes the light novels’ official English version, describes the series as such:
Ordinary office worker Ohashi Rei wakes up in the body of the protagonist of her favorite otome game, Revolution. To her delight, the first person to greet her is also her favorite character, Claire Francois—the main antagonist of the story! Now, Rei is determined to romance Claire instead of the game’s male leads. But how will her villainous ladylove react to this new courtship?!
