Idolland PriPara Mobile Game Sets Long-Awaited Launch Date
Following a whopping five delays since its originally planned spring 2021 launch, we finally have a release date for the Idolland PriPara mobile game. Based on the PriPara series from syn Sophia and TAKARA TOMY A.R.T.S., the latest addition is set to make its way to mobile devices in Japan on August 17.
As previously reported, the app will also have its own anime streaming within it, marking the first for the series in three years. Makoto Moriwaki is returning to direct, with Michihiro Tsuchiya supervising scripts at Tatsunoko Productions.
Following the first delay from spring 2021 to summer 2021, the Idolland PriPara game was delayed to spring 2022, summer/fall 2022 and then October 2022 before landing on this August 17, 2023 launch date. Hopefully, with just 10 days to go, the game will stick this landing and finally be in the hands of fans that have been eagerly awaiting its arrival for years.
