Idol Land Pripara Game App Announces Its Fifth Postponement
The wait is likely to continue a bit longer (again). The official website for Takara Tomy Arts’ smartphone game app Idol Land Pripara announced on April 25 that its release date has been postponed one more time in order to improve the game content and the quality of the app. This is the fifth time a postponement has been announced.

As reported several times, the app featuring the characters from the popular idol-themed Pripara franchise was originally planned to launch in the spring of 2021. But its date was changed first to the summer of 2021, then moved to the spring of 2022, and to the summer-fall of 2022. The app’s long PV was finally posted in December 2022, announcing its new release date of spring 2023.
However, it appears that the app’s development team continues to face many challenges. The announcement writes, “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this another delay. We are working hard to provide our customers with a better experience with the many Code items that are the most appealing feature of this app. We appreciate your understanding.”
The new release schedule is expected to be announced in June.
