Horrors Lurk in Feast of Amrita Anime Theatrical Film Trailer

A Japanese school girl trembles in fear as a mysterious, supernatural figure creeps up on her from behind in a scene from the upcoming Feast of Amrita theatrical anime film.

Horrors lurk in the darkness, because a spooky new trailer has been published for Feast of Amrita (known in Japan as Amrita no Kyouen), an upcoming theatrical anime film that serves as a prequel to the 2018 film, Aragne: Sign of Vermillion.

It has also been revealed that Feast of Amrita will play in Japanese theaters as a double-bill alongside a revised version of Aragne: Sign of Vermillion. Newly named as the “Refined Edition”, this version of Aragne: Sign of Vermillion has some 60 revised animation cuts and it will be screened in Japanese theaters for the first time.

Sentai Filmworks distributes the 2018 Arage: Sign of Vermillion film, and describes the story of it as follows:

There’s something very wrong with the apartment that young university student Rin has rented, and it’s more than just the terrible condition that it’s in. There’s something grim and foreboding about the place… an omnipresent atmosphere of dread that makes Rin feel as though she’s constantly being watched by a thousand unblinking eyes.

And the surrounding area isn’t any better. Between sinister street people on strange missions, bizarre cults and rumors of a serial killer, it might seem that staying locked in behind closed doors would be the safest thing to do. But what if the real danger is already inside? There’s no escape for Rin or her secrets now, and the only thing more terrifying than the horrific events that take place in her apartment are the nightmarish entities that conduct them!
