GRIDMAN UNIVERSE Anime Director Sketches Celebratory Art for ULTRAMAN CG Anime Sendoff

 

Lots of celebrations are incoming for the big finale of ULTRAMAN, Netflix’s CG anime based on the tokusatsu-inspired manga. Among the celebrants is the director of GRIDMAN UNIVERSE, who’s penned a superpowered picture in honor of the show.

 

Satoshi Amemiya threw his hat in the ring with this awesome artwork, cheering on the show in its final season. He adds that the tempo and fun of the series have increased since the previous season, and that a certain “long-awaited thing” was very satisfying.

The celebrations continue on May 21, when a celebration stream will air on YouTube. Fans will be treated to a discussion with the cast, live musical performances, and an action show.

Based on the manga written by Eiichi Shimizu and illustrated by Tomohiro Shimoguchi, ULTRAMAN is directed by Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki and features animation production by Production I.G × SOLA DIGITAL ARTS. The final season of ULTRAMAN is now streaming on Netflix. Netflix describes the story as follows:
