Golden Kamuy Gets 6th Sapporo Beer Collaboration in July

 

Golden Kamuy is no stranger to beer collaborations that match its incredible narrative, and the Sapporo beer brand is set to continue the now established tradition with its sixth collaboration since 2018. The latest tie-in will launch appropriately enough only in Hokkaido, Japan on July 4 with a new limited series of can and case packaging.

 

Different illustrations will be featured depending on the size of the cans purchased during the campaign, with Saichi Sugimoto, Yutake Shiraishi and Tatsuma Ushiyama toasting on the short cans, while Lieutenant Tsurumi, Hyakunosuke Ogata and Genjiro Tanigaki each hold food on the tall cans. The case packaging illustration will also differ between both can sizes with new artwork.

 

 

In addition, those who purchase the six packs of either size and fill out the postcard inside by October 31 will be entered into a prize lottery for a custom wood plate, with 10 winners being selected at random.

Based on the manga by Satoru Noda, Shizutaka Sugahara (Grimms Notes the Animation) takes over as the chief director of Golden Kamuy at studio Brain’s Base from Hitoshi Nanba at Geno Studio. Noboru Takagi continues to write the series composition for the series, while Takumi Yamakawa (animation director on 5 episodes of To Your Eternity) takes over as the character designer.
