Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection Trailer Shows Off New Features
Atlus revealed a new “How To” trailer for Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection. It shows off the remastered collection and several new features that weren’t present in the Nintendo DS originals.
The first new feature is different difficulty modes. Picnic mode is a new one that is essentially the game’s easy mode. It allows players to comfortably explore and develop their own strategies without as much hardship. There is also a new auto-mapping function which allows players to focus more on discovery and exploration while the game automatically fills in floors and walls on the map.

Furthermore, the collection has a new widescreen aspect ratio to fit modern hardware, as well as enhanced graphics and sound quality. Check out the trailer below:
Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection launches on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on June 1, 2023.
