Digimon Adventure 02 Kids Feature as Adults on DigiFes 2023 Poster

 

DigiFes 2023, an annual event held to celebrate the Digimon franchise, will soon be upon us.

To get people hyped up for the festivities, the poster for the event was released today featuring the adult versions of the Digimon Adventure 02 characters (and new ones!) that we’ll see in the upcoming Digimon Adventure 02 THE BEGINNING anime film later this year.

 

 

The event also announced that two performances will be held on July 30, each with their own separate live readings from the cast of the Digimon Adventure 02 THE BEGINNING anime film. One of the performances will be during the day, the other that night, both at the Stellar Ball at Prince Hotel Shinagawa.

Tomohisa Taguchi is returning as the director of THE BEGINNING from LAST EVOLUTION Kizuna with Akatsuki Yamatoya also returning to pen the script. The animation will once again be produced at Yumeta Company with Toei Animation acting as a producer. The film releases in Japan on October 27.
