Check Out the Non-Credit OP for the Japanese Dub of The Last Summoner

It’s time to revel in some unpleasant dreams, because a credit-free version of the opening animation sequence for the Japanese dubbed version of The Last Summoner TV animation has been published online. The video (below) features the song “With”, which is performed by NIGHTMARE.

 

Additionally, the members of NIGHTMARE have joined the cast of the Japanese dubbed version of The Last Summoner. Hitsugi voices Nightmare, a Destroyer that can warp people’s dreams, while Sakito voices a Male Teacher in a cameo role, and YOMI voices a Landscape Gardener in a cameo role.

Known in Japan as Saigyo no Shoukanshi, The Last Summoner TV animation is based on the Chinese web comic Zui Hou De Zhao Huan Shi. Crunchyroll currently streams the Chinese language version of The Last Summoner, and describes the story of the series as follows:

 

Centuries ago, beings walked the planet that could summon souls. When young Ah Jie accidentally attracts the goddess Dora, he’s thrust into the supernatural world of these magical Summoners. Called to join forces with the Guardians, he must confront their greatest enemy—the Destroyers. All he wants is to conjure the best ramen recipe, but he’ll learn you can’t fight destiny!
