Anisong Duo ClariS to Release Lycoris Recoil Opening Theme Single’s Complete Edition
The official website for anisong duo ClariS has announced that the perfect limited-production edition of their 24th single “ALIVE” is newly set to be released on February 8, 2023. The dramatic tune was featured as the opening theme for the summer 2022 TV anime Lycoris Recoil.

Following the digital release on July 7, 2022, the CD single of the song was originally released in two editions (regular and time-limited edidtion) in Japan on August 3, then peaked at #8 on Oricon’s weekly single chart. Four months have already passed since its first release, but due to the high popularity of the song and strong demand from fans, the “complete edition” will now be released in a limited quantity of 3,000 units.
In addition to the four songs in the original single, the 3,080-yen (22.66 USD) disc newly includes “ALIVE LycoReco Version,” which was used in the anime’s final episode, and their performance of the song at THE FIRST TAKE in October. The set also comes with a bonus DVD that includes the anime’s non-credit opening movie, a newly-drawn LP-size jacket, and an original anime illustration poster. Both discs, the CD single and the bonus DVD, have illustrations printed on them.

A-1 Pictures’ original TV anime Lycoris Recoil was aired for 13 episodes from July to September 2022. All episodes are available on Crunchyroll for its members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.
