As the two-member unit’s 19th digital single, “Idol” was released worldwide on April 12 and has become one of the most internationally successful songs in their career. As earlier reported, its cumulative total worldwide stream and video views immediately reached 100 million in just two weeks.

The CD, which will be produced in limited quantities, includes four versions of the title song: the original version, the English-lyric version, the Anime Edit version and the instrumental version. Its 7-inch record-size paper jacket is illustrated by the production team of the Oshi no Ko anime (seen below). The bonus item is a poster-type booklet featuring a newly-drawn illustration, including the spin-off novel 45510 written for YOASOBI by the manga’s original story writer Aka Akasaka.
