Wotakoi Hirotaka VA Kento Ito Shows His Singer Side in Debut MV “Mayonaka no Love”

Following the announcement a month ago, voice actor Kento Ito, best known as Hirotaka Nifuji in Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku, finally released his debut digital single song “Mayonaka no Love” (Love in Midnight) on September 21. A full music video for the song is now stremaed on his official YouTube channel.

Ito started his career as an anime voice actress in 2011, and he and fellow voice actor Yoshiki Nakajima formed UMake, a music unit born out of a radio show they were on, in 2017. He has also sung many character songs for various anime/game franchises and released a J-pop cover song album “COVER~YOUTH~” in December 2021, but this will be the first time he has released an original song under his own name.

Message from Kento Ito:

I will make my debut under the name “Kento Ito.” This year marks 10 years since I started my voice acting career. Now that a considerable amount of time has passed, I decided to make my debut as I wanted to create a home for myself. I am excited to see what I will be able to send from this place, and I want to keep trying to do trial and error to find out what I can do because I am Kento Ito. I would appreciate your support.
