VTuber Kson Wins Starring Role in Next Two Like a Dragon Video Games
They say dreams do come to life. This is especially true for VShojo VTuber, talent and Kiryu-lover Kson, who last night won the Like a Dragon Hostess Grand Prix and will now be featured in both the upcoming Gaiden game as well as Like a Dragon 8, the next mainline game in the long-running franchise formerly known as Yakuza.

Kson won the vote against four other girls to be featured in the eighth game in the series. All five girls will get a role in the upcoming Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name game, which is scheduled to release later this year.

Developers Ryu Ga Gotoku also announced that their next summit, where information on future games are announced, will be held on June 15 at 8 PM Pacific time or June 16 at midday Japan time.

The latest game in the Like a Dragon franchise, Like a Dragon: Ishin! was released on all major platforms worldwide on February 21, 2023. The next game in the series is Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, a side-story game following Kiryu while the events of Yakuza: Like a Dragon were taking place, later this year and then Like a Dragon 8 next year.
