Voice Actor Kaito Ishikawa Already Discharged from The Hospital after Surgery

 

Voice actor Kaito Ishikawa, best known as Tobio Kageyama in Haikyu!! and Tenya Iida in My Hero Academia, reported on his official Twitter account on June 3 that he was already discharged from the hospital a short time ago.

As reported last month, he underwent surgery for vocal cord polyps in late May, and has been taking about a month off since then. He wrote: “I’m not sure if I should tweet or not, as I’ve been inconveniencing a lot of people by taking a break, but I’m tweeting because there’s really nothing to do. All I do is cleaning and walking. I was discharged from the hospital a short while ago and am in rehabilitation. The progress has been ridiculously good. I’m a NEET who doesn’t talk.”

 

 

He is return is expected in late June. In the forthcoming summer 2023 season, he has been already cast as Lawrence in Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence, Ryota Sato in My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1, and Kiyoka Kudo in My Happy Marriage.
