VA Yume Miyamoto Announces Health-Related Hiatus
Voice actor Yume Miyamoto will be taking a brief hiatus according to talent agency Gekidan Himawari. While she’ll be doing some work with restrictions, she has been feeling unwell since the end of October and thus will be on hiatus due to her poor health.
Miyamoto’s illness has not been disclosed, but her agency says she will prioritize treatment in the meantime.
Among Miyamoto’s notable anime roles are Nika Nanaura in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, Maki Kuwana in Blue Period, Rikka Takarada in SSSS.GRIDMAN and Mai Ninomiya in Josee, The Tiger and the Fish.
