UniteUp! Idol Anime Reveals Staff and Premiere Date in First Full Trailer
In September we got our first look at the UniteUp! TV anime, based on the YouTube project that kicked off in 2021. A bunch of voice cast members were revealed for all the various idol units in the series, and now the debut trailer has arrived with a look at the show and an overview of the staff behind it.

Shinichiro Ushijima (I want to eat your pancreas) is at the helm for this one as director, with Rino Yamazaki (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform) on series composition and Majiro (Macross Delta) handling character designs and chief animation direction. Other staff members serving as chief animation director include Asami Komatsu (GRANBLUE FANTASY: The Animation) and Yurie Hama (Fate/Grand Order Final Singularity – Grand Temple of Time: Solomon). Hiromi Ishigami (Cutie Honey Universe) is on board as action director and Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia) is on music.
As previously reported, CloverWorks is the studio behind the production. Check out the main trailer and key visual below while we wait for this one to premiere on TOKYO MX and other stations in Japan on January 7, 2023.
