Based on the novel series by Yugo Aosaki, the Undead Murder Farce anime plans were first unveiled along with the recent lineup additions to Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block. The series is set to premiere in Japan this July and will stream on Crunchyroll as it airs, and the first in a series of character visuals is here to lift the curtain off the cage of Aya Rindo.

Synopsis:

 

The 19th century — a world inhabited by vampires, golems, werewolves and other paranormal creatures. Immortal beauty and disembodied head Aya Rindo, along with half-human-half-demon “Demon Killer” Tsugaru Shunichi and her loyal maid Shizuku Hasei, travels through Europe as supernatural detective “The Cage User,” solving supernatural mysteries while she searches for her lost body.
