Umamusume Pretty Derby Stage Play Cancels All 12 Performances through January 26 due to COVID-19

 

 

The official website for “Umamusume Pretty Derby The Stage ~Sprinters’ Story~” has announced that its all 12 performances from January 19 to 26 have been canceled.

The highly-anticipated stage play inspired by Cygames’ popular mixed-media franchise Umamusume Pretty Derby kicked off at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Stellar Ball in Tokyo on January 15. On the next day, however, three performances on January 16 and 17 were decided to be canceled due to the illness of some of the people involved in the play. And, it has now been discovered that several people have been tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, all 12 performances from the 19th to the 26th have been also canceled.

 

The plays was scheduled to run until January 29 at the same venue. An announcement will be made on the official website and Twitter by 3:00 p.m. on January 26 as to whether the play will be held from the 27th to the 29th. Refund of tickets will be made after the performance period.
