Time to Break Controllers All Over Again as Classic Mario Party Head to Switch on November 2

Nintendo 64 controllers watch out as Mario Party is coming for you on November 2! After being announced in the previous Nintendo Direct, the Kyoto-based company revealed today that both Mario Party and Mario Party 2 will be joining the Nintendo Switch Online service on November 2, as well as a few more features for those who fork out for the Expansion Pack add-on.

 

 

Those who have Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, starting November 1 select games in the Nintendo eShop will be coming with double gold coins. These new coins can be used to buy more games. New icons will also be available featuring Nintendo 64-related characters and games, though these will also be exclusive to Expansion Pack members and only able to be used for redeemed Platinum Coins.

The last Nintendo Direct also confirmed that the classic Golden Eye 64 game will be coming soon with a new multiplayer mode alongside Pokémon StadiumPokémon Stadium 21080 Snowboarding and Excitebike 64 at some point in the future. The Expansion Pack launched as an expanded tier to the NSO service, bringing Nintendo 64 games and Sega Genesis (also known as the Sega Mega Drive everywhere but North America) for the much-expanded price of US$49.99 annually.
