Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan TV Drama Reveals New Cast and Key Visual

A new key visual, new cast members and new Japanese broadcast details have been revealed for the upcoming third season of Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan (known in Japan as Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai), an ongoing live-action TV drama adaptation based on the manga by Hidehiko Araki (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) about an eccentric, Stand-wielding manga author who solves mysteries in his spare time.

 

The seventh episode of the series adapts the “Hot Summer Martha” chapter of the Thus Spoke Kishibe manga, while the eighth episode adapts the “Rock-Paper-Scissors Brat” chapter of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable manga. Actor Kotone Furukawa guest stars as Eve in “Hot Summer Martha”, while actor child actor Hinata Hiiragi guest stars as Ken Oyanagi in “Rock-Paper-Scissors Brat”.

The Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan TV drama is directed by Kazutaka Watanabe and features screenplays by Yasuko Kobayashi, and it stars actor Issey Takahashi as Kishibe Rohan. The two new episodes of season three of Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan will broadcast on the NHK network during the 22:00 time slot (10:00pm JST) on December 26, 2023 and December 27, 2023, respectively. The first season of the TV drama is streamed in the United States by Tubi and Retrocrush, while Netflix streams the Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan anime adaptation.
