Three Delinquent Girls Get Cast for Urusei Yatsura TV Anime
Ahead of the broadcast of Urusei Yatsura’s 20th episode on March 2, the TV anime announced that three new, very delinquent, characters will be joining the series, revealing not only their voice actors but also releasing character art for each.
Misaki Kuno (Hawk in The Seven Deadly Sins) will be voicing Sugar
Chitose Morinaga (Umiko in NEW GAME!) will be voicing Ginger
Rie Takahashi (Megumin in KONOSUBA -God’s blessing on this wonderful world!) will be voicing Pepper

Keijo!!!!!!!! director Hideya Takahashi is helming the series as director alongside Yasuhiro Kimura (2.43: Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Team) with character designs by Naoyuki Asano (Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!) and series compositions written by Yuko Kakihara (The aquatope on white sand). The animation is being produced at david production.
Urusei Yatsura is airing on Fuji TV’s Noitamina block over four parts with the first two parts airing consecutively, adapting certain all-star stories from the original manga. HiDIVE is be streaming the series in English-speaking countries.
