The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten

After the premiere of the first episode of The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten in Japan, the official channels released the first creditless opening, featuring the song “Gift” performed by singer Masayoshi Oishi.

Kenichi Imaizumi (After School Dice Club) directs the series, with Keiichiro Ochi (The Quintessential Quintuplets) writing the series composition at Project No.9. The original light novels written by Saekisan and illustrated by Hanekoto are published in Japan by GA Bunko with seven volumes released so far, with volume eight releasing on January 23, 2023. Yen Press releases the English version of the novels, and describes the story:

Mahiru is a beautiful girl whose classmates all call her an “angel.” Not only is she a star athlete with perfect grades—she’s also drop-dead gorgeous. Amane‚ an average guy and self-admitted slob‚ has never thought much of the divine beauty‚ despite attending the same school. Everything changes, however‚ when he happens to see Mahiru sitting alone in a park during a rainstorm. Thus begins the strange relationship between this incredibly unlikely pair!
