That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime The Movie: Scarlet Bond Surpasses 500 Million Yen in Just Six Days

 

 

It has been confirmed that the cumulative total domestic gross of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime The Movie: Scarlet Bond in Japan had already surpassed 500 million yen (3.7 million USD) on 380,000 admissions in just six days.

 

The 108-minute all-new feature film, which follows the very successful TV anime that was aired for two seasons from 2018 to 2021, was released in 322 theaters across Japan on November 25 and earned 297 million yen (2.14 million USD) on 225,000 admissions on its first Saturday and Sunday. It made its second place debut in Japan’s weekend ranking, behind only Shinkai Makoto’s Suzume. The total from Friday to Sunday reached 416 million yen (3 million USD) on 313,000 admissions.

From December 9, the first 300,000 theatergoers will receive an illustration card featuring Diablo and Violet as a bonus. The powerful illustration is newly drawn by the anime’s character designer Ryoma Ebata. On the back of the card, an exclusive code that allows you to get your favorite five fighting character by clearing certain conditions in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: The Saga of How the Demon Lord and Dragon Founded a Nation game app.

 

 

 

 

Crunchyroll will bring the film to theaters in all major global territories (excluding Asia) in Early 2023.
