Just when you thought you may have had enough of the toying around with, the Teasing Master Takagi-san franchise revealed today the announcement of a live-action film! While no dates for the live-action film were not announced at the time of reporting, the director was unveiled as well as comments from the director and original manga creator.

Rikiya Imaizumi, who is best known for their work on Japanese films By the Window, Just Only Love and many more has been picked for the project. Creator Soichiro Yamamoto had to come around on the concept, explaining “When the editor in charge told me about the live-action adaptation, I didn’t really understand it, but as the director was chosen and the casting process progressed, I was like, ‘Thank you very much, I’m looking forward to it.’”
