Take a Bite Out of Bikkurimen’s Chocolatey TV Anime Character Designs

 

After revealing the original TV anime Bikkurimen last month, based on the Bikkuriman line of chocolate from Lotte, the series released the anime character designs today, adapting Hiroyuki Takei’s (Shaman King manga creator) original designs based on the stickers that adorn the chocolatey sweets the series is based on.

The story Bikkurimen takes place in a world where stickers from Bikkuriman are so sought after that they’re transported as if they’re high-value currency. Yamato, who appears in the above visual, joins the fight for the stickers. The series is set to premiere in Fall 2023.
