Sugar Apple Fairy Tale Season 2 Cooks Up Intrigue on July 7

Drama and intrigue are both sweet and dangerous in a new preview video (below) for the upcoming second season of Sugar Apple Fairy Tale, which returns to Japanese TV on July 07, 2023, and which will also stream on Crunchyroll. The Japanese broadcast schedule for the series is as follows:

 

  • TOKYO MX: every Friday during the 22:30 time slot beginning on July 07, 2023.
  • BS Asahi: every Friday during the 23:00 time slot beginning on July 07, 2023.
  • Sun TV: every Friday during the 24:00 time slot beginning on July 07, 2023.
  • KBS Kyoto: every Saturday during the 23:00 time slot beginning on July 08, 2023.

Based on the light novels written by Miri Mikawa and illustrated by Aki, Sugar Apple Fairy Tale is directed by Yohei Suzuki and features animation production by J.C.STAFF. Crunchyroll describes the story of the series as follows:

 

Anne Halford is on her way to fulfill her dream of becoming a confectionary artisan, a Silver Sugar Master—however, the road to her destination is filled with a world of danger. To protect herself, she reluctantly buys Challe, a fairy forced into a life of servitude, but she seeks friendship more than a lackey. Torn between his freedom and her needs, she must confront what the sweet life is worth.
