Steal a Look at Lupin the Third vs. Cat’s Eye Crossover Anime in New Visual, Trailer

Arsène Lupin III and Hitomi Kisugi don’t look a day over fifty and forty, respectively, in an energetic key visual and trailer that were just released for the upcoming Lupin the Third vs. Cat’s Eye anniversary crossover special. Alongside their familiar bands of rogues, the pair will officially put their plan into action to infiltrate Amazon Prime Video worldwide on January 27, 2023.

Joining Kanichi Kurita and Keiko Toda reprising their long-running roles as the main duo are these newly confirmed cast members:

 

  • Daisuke Jigen voiced by Akio Ohtsuka (Thorkell in Vinland Saga)
  • Goemon Ishikawa XIII voiced by Daisuke Namikawa (Oikawa in Haikyu!!)
  • Fujiko Mine voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro (Kanbaru in Bakemonogatari)
  • Koichi Zenigata voiced by Koichi Yamadera (Spike in Cowboy Bebop)
  • Rui Kisugi voiced by Rica Fukami (Minako in Sailor Moon)
  • Ai Kisugi voiced by Chika Sakamoto (Mei in My Neighbor Totoro)
  • Toshio Utsumi voiced by Yoshito Yasuhara (Kadokura in Golden Kamuy)
  • Nagaishi voiced by Mugihito (Kaseki in Dr. STONE)

 

It was also announced that ANRI (Cat’s Eye OP, ED) will perform “CAT’s EYE2023” for the main theme song, while fox capture plan (Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai) composed “THEME FROM LUPIN vs CAT’s EYE” for the opening theme.

Directing Lupin the Third vs. Cat’s Eye will be the pair behind the Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters anime film and its sequels Kobun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita with deputy direction from Keisuke Ide (Ajin), character designs from Haruhisa Nakata (ANONYMOUS;CODE) and Junko Yamanaka (Lupin the 3rd Part 6 animation director) and based on a screenplay written by Shuji Kuzuhara (Go! Anpanman: Dororin and the Ghost Carnival). The animation is being produced at TMS Entertainment.
