SPY x FAMILY Code: White Coming to US Theaters in 2024

The upcoming anime movie SPY x FAMILY CODE: White is hitting Japanese theaters on December 22, and we can now confirm it’s scheduled to be on the big screen in North America sometime in 2024. Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment have teamed up for theatrical rights in North America and other parts of the globe. American fans will have the choice to watch the movie with an English dub or in Japanese with subtitles.

Crunchyroll gave this description for the movie, which has a brand-new plot as opposed to being based off the manga:

He’s a spy. She’s an assassin. Together, Loid and Yor keep their double lives to themselves while pretending to be the perfect family. However, their adopted daughter Anya, a telepath, knows both of their exciting secrets unbeknownst to them. While under the guise of taking his family on a weekend winter getaway, Loid’s attempt to make progress on his current mission Operation Strix proves difficult when Anya mistakenly gets involved and triggers events that threaten world peace!

Creator Tatsuya Endo is supervising SPY x FAMILY CODE: White, which is being made at both WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks. It’s being directed by Takashi Katagiri, who has been an episode director and assistant director for the TV anime series. Credit for the scriptwriting goes to Ichiro Okouchi.

There will be new characters and actors: Dmitri (played by Tomoya Nakamura), Luka (played by Kento Kaku), Snijder (played by Banjou Ginga), and Type F (played by Shunsuke Takeuchi).

Besides North America, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment have theatrical rights for SPY x FAMILY Code: White in Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Austria, the Nordics, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, and the Benelux. The manga is published in America by VIZ Media.
