SPY x FAMILY Anime Season 2 Premieres in October 2023

The Forger family will go on a double mission at the end of the year with the SPY x FAMILY TV anime’s second season set to premiere in October 2023 and the original anime film, SPY x FAMILY CODE: White, on December 22, 2023. At the SPY x FAMILY stage today at AnimeJapan 2023, the first details on the newly named SPY x FAMILY CODE: White anime film was revealed including a new visual and logo.

Taking on the challenge of directing the SPY x FAMILY CODE: White anime film is Takashi Katagiri, an episode director from the first season, while the TV anime director Kazuhiro Furuhashi is supervising the film and working on the second season.
Alongside the main anime character designer Kazuaki Shimada, who returns for the film and second season, will be sub anime character designer Kana Ishida (Oreimo chief animation director) for the film. Ichiro Okouchi (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion) is stepping as the series composer for the second season and the writer of the film, with Ayumu Hisao and Daishiro Tanimura returning from the first season as sub-series composers on the second season.
Both the SPY x FAMILY TV anime series and the upcoming film are produced at WIT Studio and CloverWorks, with character designs by Kazuaki Shimada (The Promised Neverland) and music produced by [K]NoW_NAME (Dorohedoro). Crunchyroll streamed the first season of the anime as it airs in Japan, and describes the series as such:
World peace is at stake and secret agent Twilight must undergo his most difficult mission yet—pretend to be a family man. Posing as a loving husband and father, he’ll infiltrate an elite school to get close to a high-profile politician. He has the perfect cover, except his wife’s a deadly assassin and neither knows each other’s identity. But someone does, his adopted daughter who’s a telepath!
