Spike Chunsoft Announces Reversal Of Chaos;Head Steam Ban, Game To Launch As Scheduled

 

Following up on the previous story, Spike Chunsoft has announced that its previously announced cancellation of the Steam version of Chaos;Head NOAH has been reversed by the platform and will launch as originally scheduled on Friday October 7.

The publisher has also confirmed that it has received assurances from the platform that the policies that led to the ban for the game will be amended so that such bans will not happen in the future. The complete statement from Valve Software is below followed by Spike Chunsoft’s statement:

 

Valve’s content review team, the group that made the original decision, has re-examined CHAOS;HEAD NOAH and decided to reverse course and allow the game to ship on Steam, as is. We’ve also examined the process that led to the previous decision about CHAOS;HEAD NOAH, and made some changes to avoid situations like this in the future.

 

Spike Chiunsoft’s statement on the reversal and gratitude towards the fanbase:

 

We believe this decision is the result of the unwavering support from fans of the Science Adventure Series as well as all of the players who are eagerly awaiting the release of this title.
