Sound! Euphonium

The start of the new Japanese school year is upon us and with it brings fresh new students to join the school’s brass band club. To help encourage students Yamada has once again teamed up with Kyoto Animation’s Sound! Euphonium anime franchise for the New Member Recruitment Festival 2023.

A poster featuring the floof herself was released which can be downloaded off of Yamaha’s website to put up around schools.

The New Member Recruitment Festival 2023 is a promotion by Yamaha to support club activities in schools across Japan. By using the flyers and signing up, the clubs that sign up and use either the Sound! Euphonium poster or the other poster on the website will go in running to win new equipment straight from Yamaha itself.

Of course, clubs can use the posters without signing up as well as they’re free to download off of Yamaha’s website–maybe a way to spruce up your local clubroom?

Crunchyroll currently streams seasons 1 and 2 of Sound! Euphonium, describing the story as such:

Spring in the first year of high school. Kumiko, a member of the brass band in junior high school, visits the high school brass band club with classmates Hazuki and Sapphire. There, she comes across Reina, her former classmate from junior high. Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, but Kumiko can’t make up her mind. She recollects her experience with Reina at a competition in junior high school.
