Sorcerous Stabber Orphan Anime Introduces Haruka Fushimi as Isabella

More new faces (and voices!) are entering the world of Sorcerous Stabber Orphen! In episode 8, we’ll be meeting Isabella, disciple of the recently-introduced Maria and a member of the 13 Apostles.

An early look at her in the episode can be seen above. Character art was also dropped for the occasion:

Isabella will be voiced by Haruka Fushimi (Nozomi Harasaki in Shenmue the Animation). Fushimi describes Isabella as a “smart, strong big sister.” She adds that her personal attention point for the character is her relationship with magic, and hopes fans will enjoy watching Isabella grow over the course of the series.

The third season of Sorcerous Stabber Orphen is being helmed by returning director Takayuki Hamana (Arte) at Studio DEEN, with Kenji Konuta (Ace of the Diamond) replacing Reiko Yoshida as series composer and character designs by Yoko Kikuchi (Kuroko’s Basketball) and Rio. Crunchyroll currently streams the series, describing the series as such:

From Studio DEEN (Fate/stay night) comes a remake celebrating the 25th anniversary of the series! Orphen is a powerful sorcerer who is notoriously lazy. Everything changes when he finds a way to save his sis, who was turned into a dragon during their days at magic academy. Betrayed by friends who refused to help, Orphen will stop at nothing to track her down, even if he has to go it alone.
