Slam Dunk Anime Film Shows Off 3DCG Style in Teaser Trailer

Following up on the recent reveal of its title, the upcoming Slam Dunk anime film has officially unveiled its very first teaser featuring footage. It’s a quick glimpse, but you can see the 3DCG style at the core of THE FIRST SLAM DUNK in the video below.

Check it out ahead of the film’s December 3 release in Japan:

Based on the manga by Takehiko Inoue, The original Slam Dunk TV anime aired from 1993 to 1996, with four anime films being spun off from the original anime.

Hanamichi Sakuragi, an entering freshman at Shohoku High, holds a record for being rejected by 50 girls during middle school. Ever since the last girl turned him down for a guy on the basketball team, Sakuragi’s been traumatized by the sport.
