Silent Hill 2 remake

Konami promised some big Silent Hill news during its livestream this afternoon, and they certainly delivered. In addition to announcing a full remake of classic 2001 PlayStation 2 entry Silent Hill 2—which is in the works at Bloober Team (The Medium) for PS5 and Steam—Konami unveiled Silent Hill: Townfall, a brand new entry from the mind of Ryukishi07 titled Silent Hill f and more.

Not much is known about the brand new entry, Silent Hill f, but Ryukishi07—known for creating the When They Cry visual novel series—is handling the story. Creature and character designs come from kera and Motoi Okamoto is producing for developer Neobards Entertainment.

There’s also a new live, interactive streaming series in the works at Konami, Genvid, Behaviour Interactive, Bad Robot Games and dj2 Entertainment called Silent Hill: Ascension, and original Silent Hill film adaptation director Christophe Gans (Brotherhood of the Wolf) stopped by to preview his next crack at bringing the series to the big screen, Return to Silent Hill.
