SHY Anime Adds to Cast and Reveals Date Along with New Trailer
After being announced back in October 2022 and planned for 2023 earlier this year, a date has been put in place for the SHY anime, which adapts the manga by Bukimi Miki. The series will premiere in Japan on October 2, with Crunchyroll set to stream, and you can see a new trailer and read about the latest cast additions below.
Voice actors new to the cast include Mutsumi Tamura as Stigma, Miyuki Sawashiro as Tzveta and Rina Hidaka as Kufufu, who is known as Keheheh in the Yen Press manga translation.
As previously announced, SHY will star Shino Shimoji as the main character, Shy, also known as Teru Momijiyama. Shimoji is known for roles like Akari Ōzora (Aikatsu!) and Seyram Munzer Asakura (Shaman King 2021).
The series will be directed by Masaomi Ando (Astra Lost in Space) and animated at 8-bit.

Earth was on the brink of a third World War when super-powered individuals came forth from each country around the globe, ending the conflict and ushering in a new era of relative peace.
